In particular, we assist our clients throughout the entire process of acquiring, developing and managing plants powered by renewable sources, including photovoltaic, wind, hydroelectric, biomass (biogas and biomethane), and storage systems, as well as thermoelectric plants. Our professionals provide legal support both during the acquisition phase of the project or existing plant and during the process of obtaining the required authorisations and environmental and landscape compatibility clearances, as well as in public utility expropriation proceedings.

As part of these activities, we have assisted some of the leading national and international operators, helping them to obtain authorisations for a capacity exceeding 350 MW.

We also oversee relations between operators and Public Administrations, assisting our clients in the drafting and execution of agreements with Local Authorities and environmental compensation measures, as well as obtaining and verifying economic incentives.

We assist our clients in dealing with ARERA (the Italian Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks and Environment) on matters relating to energy networks and regulatory issues.

We provide support in all phases of extraordinary transactions involving plants, from legal due diligence to the negotiation and execution of agreements. Our experience in structuring contracts relating to buildings energy efficiency is particularly significant.
